Wellington Monument
Prominent on the skyline of the scarp of the Blackdown Hills, a 175-foot column, erected in Wellington's honour, to commemorate his victory. At night it is illuminated and is a landmark for miles around. The monument has steps which can be climbed, but not for the faint hearted!
